Arrival

[ Peter, for his part, is more freaking out over being stranded on a beach. Sure, it's a much nicer beach than the ones he's used to on Coney Island, but it is still Very Much Not Where He Wanted To Be Right Now. He walks along the beach, looking for some clue about where he is, how he got there, and how to get out of here, when he stops, raising a hand to shield his eyes. There's something— no, someone— who's glittering in the light up ahead, like some kind of living gemstone.

Well, he's seen weirder things. At least they don't seem to want to fight him. ]
