Well David had no clue who Aquaman was, but Namor would think horrible things of him for it. Even if they had worked together he knew he'd sudder for messing with a fish.

The motion into the water had David stripping off his shirt and tossing it back toward the shore. Then he ducked into the water and made his way forward as well. ONce he caught up to Carter he popped his head above the water.
