Kyle shakes his head. "No, I think it really is that some weird power is like... testing us to see if we can improve as people. That or I'm REALLY bad at picking up on a mystery." If his experience thus far is any indication, the islands seem more like a means to an end.
He snickers and then thanks her as he takes his snowcone.
"Nope," he says. "We were there for two months. First month was like... a creepy masquerade party where we couldn't get our masks off until we told someone a secret. Then there was a theatre where you hallucinated someone being there who wasn't. THEN there was the zombie beach. Second month it sounds like most people just partied, mostly. That's when I got shot at twice but it wasn't the same sort of creep et-up feeling."
