He is shocked, though, to hear Carter look so shocked over the mention of JP.

"Yeah," David answered, lifting a single intrigued eyebrow. "Also known as Northstar. He's a friend, and my boss. Well, definitely boss, I'm trying on the friend, but JP is bristly. His husband says it takes time to get him to warm up, but I feel like Jeanne-Marie is a bit friendlier, and that's saying something."
