I'm also a fan of Stephen King and Dean Koontz (grew up on those). Outside of that, it's just whatever movie catches my fancy (I like the MCU/DCEU movies a lot). I am terminally boring as a human being and would rather be a cat.

Personality: Mostly reserved. He just wanted to live out his life with his wife and fam. The Turks came along and pooped on that, so he got a little vengeance curse that lasted longer than he anticipated. He's quiet, calm, and happy to talk to people and give his perspective. He wouldn't go so far as to say he gives advice, because he's not exactly a role model anymore, but he's fine with giving his perspective on what he's been through, how he sees things, and hopes that helps someone else make a decision. He's lonely and doesn't like being aware of that, but he also knows that making friends and/or lovers back home would be too noticeable and draw the wrong kind of attention. That doesn't seem to be the same issue here, so he may be more likely to reach out and bond with bros and lady bros.
Day-to-day Habits: Trying not to drink blood from anything other than the satchels he got from the temple. It's a curse for a reason. But he's not against feeding on an enemy. He just hasn't come across any so far. He'd also feed on someone who assaulted someone innocent/someone he felt was under his protection or in his 'social circle', small that may be at the moment. He's also taking time to just be out in the day, since he hasn't been out in the sun in over five hundred years. He misses it.

Desired CR: Alucard is definitely in need of at least one person to start to drag him out of his head, but mostly the best way to do that is to see through his dramatics and call him on his bullshit.  I'm happy to do this long term!  Also people to just bounce off of, even if he'll be a little meaner than intended.

Personality: Most people know Batman. He's serious, paranoid, always thinking, and always preparing. He's bad with people because of emotional issues stemming from a very unknown, very obscure childhood tragedy. In anime, he is what one would call a "tsundere," he cares too much and often displays that affection by yelling. In canon, he's dead, so that's certainly something to reconcile, especially since dead people usually aren't... alive and trapped on a weird, endless isle with a bunch of other unknowns. Stranger things have been known to happen in his canon, but personally he's still exploring his feelings on this one.
Day-to-day Habits: He's looking for answers, is the short answer. Where are they? Why are they here? Who's behind this and what do they want? But more importantly, how do they get home. He might be dead, but he's not likely to shirk his duties as a person concerned for the life and safety of others. While he's not necessarily looking to make friends, he is willing to work with others to achieve shared goals, and in doing so, friendships are bound to form once he comes to know more about the people around him.

He has a truck load of issues ranging from low self-esteem, trauma, grief, loss, etc etc compounded by a bad movie called Infinity Wars. He's trying to be better. He doesn't know how to be better. He'll stab you if you imply he has a feeling.
Day-to-day Habits: Loki spends his time exploring the island, trying to listen in on gossip or word of mouth, often disguising himself so he can go wherever he likes to discover the most information. He spends a great deal of time in the library now, catching up to whatever he doesn't know.

Desired CR: All! I'm down for positive CR, negative CR ( with the hopes of it building into something more ), ships, mentors, etc.
Offered CR: Loki is a tricky character, but get under his skin and you could easily make a friend who can be very loyal. He's smart, he works hard to know as much as he can and he is a good conversationalist, being able to offer new and interesting points of view. Incredibly useful in a fight or just if you need an escape.

Day-to-day Habits: He spends a lot of time in the library and exploring the city trying to figure shit out, but avoids the temples except to bathe. He doesn't sleep much so he'll be around at any time of day or night. He's kind of a lurker, generally.

Desired CR: Friends! People he can actually relate to! Anyone who could/would help him figure out the powers he doesn't know he has would also be cool. Honestly I'm open to anything, negative CR can be a lot of fun, too.
Offered CR: Does your character enjoy trolling the serious types? Do you want someone to be a callous jerk to them? Or maybe they'd like to learn some fighting skills, he could be persuaded.
Shipping: Um, friendship is hard enough work for him. I am absolutely down for anyone flirting at him or crushing on him tho. He's very pretty.

Tagging Habits: Did I mention being a night owl? If it’s a good day I like to boomerang (usually any time between the evening and late night in my time zone), but if it’s not, it can be a few days between tags for health reasons.
Interests: Mixed-media art, crafts, calligraphy, reading (mostly history, literary fiction, nonfiction), writing (like, the craft of writing!), post-punk music (also dreampop, modern rock, early music, etc), medieval stuff, 80s stuff, puzzles and mysteries, Animal Crossing, Elder Scrolls, Locked Tomb, sometimes nail polish. I do also know a tedious amount of minutiae about A Song of Ice and Fire, and I used to be really into alt comics and that kind of thing. Overall I have really broad, varied tastes.

Age: 24
Personality: Jon is a good person who tries to do the right thing, and who is protective of others if they need it... but it isn’t always easy for him to be sure what the right thing even is, and he comes from a culture where violence is often the answer. He has a kindly, melancholic demeanor that can come off as grumpy. He lacks reference points for a lot of things that are common to other characters, and that frustrates him. He absolutely looks older than he is, and absolutely seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. He’s not very judgmental at this pull point unless it’s of someone who’s overtly shady or evil, so that makes him good with a lot of people... if they can put up with his brooding and the fact that his selfless bravery might start to seem like a death wish after a while. You can read his app if you’d like a better explanation, and I also have a very extensive info post.
Day-to-day Habits: I’m not sure on this one. Regular, though: probably an early riser who hangs around the temples, goes down to the beach, looks out over the waves, etc. Other characters can probably pick up a vibe that he doesn’t like the city.

Desired CR: It’s still early days in this game for me. Anything is good, and I’d especially be interested in interactions with people who make him think more about what’s going on in the larger sense! Also, long term goals include getting him to a place where he handles upcoming canon events better than he actually did in canon (because YIKES).
I’m not really looking for intense enmity as of yet, but friends, people to do stuff with, etc. would be fun. Get him to lighten up, flirt with him, fight monsters with him, etc. He just needs to get to know more people. I did not get around a ton on the OOC mingle, so just to be clear, I am cool with carrying things over from the TDM!
Offered CR: He’s got your back if you deserve for him to have your back. If you need to be stopped, that’s something else. On the whole, he’s very loyal, but it would not supersede family loyalty or his loyalty to the North. Otherwise, Jon is a pretty great bro. I made a post for him a couple of weeks ago, and I think everything but the party/mask prompt is still pretty viable (nothing else was time-sensitive). I’m not sure I’m going to TL him on the new log.
Shipping: M/F, nothing going on right now. Jon’s future trajectory in canon is greatly determined by how he handles a romantic relationship with a woman he hasn’t met at this canon point. He’s pretty careful about relationships: his morality is wrapped up in things like loyalty and monogamy. If he does get involved in a cross-canon ship, I’d like it to be a long-haul thing with some pretty extensive threading to lay the groundwork.

Personality: Human/werewolf disaster. No, really, Saxsice is extremely outspoken, extroverted, energetic and upbeat. She's nosy and blunt and likes to be in everyone's business all the time. Overall she's a thrill seeker, and will get herself tangled up into anything and everything that seems fun, interesting or exciting. She has a good heart, deep down, but she tends to disregard people's feelings and hold them at arm's length much of the time.
Day-to-day Habits: In the real world Saxsice is pretty nocturnal -- she likes to sleep late and stay up late. She's borderline alcoholic, and owns/runs a bar, so that's not a GREAT pairing. Werewolf energy/healing means that she can bounce back from things that would leave the average human reeling, so it's not uncommon for her to party every night and sleep it off wherever she drops. Wolf-form-wise, she tends to be more meditative and calm, and will find a nice spot to sit and look at the moon/stars. Very zen.

Desired CR: EVERYTHING! I've loved how welcoming this game has been thus far to an OC (bless y'all), and I'm excited for all kinds of CR! I'm definitely looking for people for Saxsice to reluctantly begin genuinely caring about, as her main issue is that she doesn't let people get close. She's also a single mom who juuuust got her kiddo back, and is missing him something fierce, so someone for her to aim those protective instincts towards would be awesome too. I'm also not opposed to shipping, either one-night hookups or serious relationships, if it comes up!
Offered CR: Clinical dumbass with a heart of gold who can turn into a big fluffy wolf. What more could you want?
Shipping: 21+, F/F or M/F. Saxsice is also poly/pan, but has chronic commitment issues, so she's more likely to flirt/hook-up, at least at the start.

Name: Maleficent: Mistress of Evil™
Age: Who knows tbh.... She's technically in her 40's by human standards, but Fae Aging is its own thing.
Personality: Prickly as thorns on the surface, but there's definite softness beneath layers of hurt, distrust, and also simply her natural Dark Fey Tendencies towards being standoffish and having a very different perception of the world / interacting than humans would. ...Then there's that whole "years of self-isolation + cursing a baby to a fate worse than death" thing. Maleficent is withdrawn, reserved, and very socially awkward to say the very least, struggling with how to even... hold a conversation with people. She's also temperamental and tends to just manipulate and/or blast things with magic on the regular (though this place is already tempering that a bit, with her still unsure how exactly her abilities are affected here).
Day-to-day Habits: She's mostly observing her fellow Travelers, mentally categorising people into groups (who seems dangerous, who could be an asset, who is Annoying as Fuck, etc.) Though she's wise enough to generally keep a low profile, Maleficent also has a flair for Making A Statement in order to try and intimidate people, so there are times she dons her best sweeping villainess attire (she's been crafting some of her own clothing with magic and you know it's all about those leather headdresses) and struts around the place flashing her fangs at people.

Desired CR: At this point, literally anything! Fellow Inhuman Beings, Humans she can have Immediate Distaste for, potential allies, potential enemies, people to teach her some chill (or for HER to corrupt)... I'm here for it all. Also, give me all the Young People for Mal to take under her wing and inevitably become fiercely protective of.
Offered CR: Also super flexible here. Mal can be a good ally if she has reason to be, but she has very skewed views on... a lot, and a heaping dose of trust issues. I'm especially interested in how this place will kind of make her have to work with others to reach her own goals (getting back home). She can be the most negative of negative CR, or something kind of?? Positive?? Depending on your definition of the term. She protecc and she attacc in equal parts.
Shipping: I'm absolutely not opposed to this, though with her, it'd be.... a very complicated, very slow process. It'd definitely be something that would need to unfold naturally rather than be ~planned, if it ever did end up happening way down the line. If so, I'm OTA (21+). Flirting or crushes on her would be fine (and hilarious), if any of that happens in the meantime, tho!

Anything Else? First off, a general apology for my (extra) slow pace throughout the latter part of May! I know this is a chill vibes place, but I definitely fizzled out a bit on my threads thanks to irl burnout. I'm slowly making my return and am down to backtag into infinity if people are still interested (and will keep doing that by default!), or if you prefer, gently handwave and do some shiny new things this month. Day-to-day Habits: Exploring her surroundings, probably offering minor medical attention to anyone who seems in need of it. Reading in the library, because all these books in one place are a serious novelty, and she hasn't given up on maybe being a real doctor one day. Maybe.

Desired CR: I'm still looking to build more connections but I'm down for all of it! I like complicated better than insta-bff, not least because while Clarke is generally helpful, she's also wildly suspicious of others at this point and isn't going to let a lot of people super close at first.

Shipping: I'm open to whatever builds naturally. She doesn't have any castmates in-game, but should a Lexa and/or Bellamy appear, they're super important to her and shippable -- honestly I'll ship her with darn near any castmate given the correct setup, and cross-canon is also a go.

I'm really enjoying these two getting to know each other. I'd be happy to see where they wind up in terms of how far that goes. I'm assuming they'd fight well beside each other. His hang up might be not stepping in to smite enemies for her because hey, she's a lady and shouldn't sully herself, but he also knows she's competent enough. He respects her, and there's also understanding the fact that she's not human and therefore might do things that make sense to her but not to others. He gets that.

And he's cool with a little (or a lot of) fang.

I think that was actually a different Jon! My best guess: I am very close to the Dany from El Nysa (and have apped a series of games with her — RL is just keeping her out of RP right now). I know that she and Vlad had some major CR there, but I wasn’t the Jon in that game. That might be what you’re thinking of.

But that doesn’t matter, because I thought they were pretty good on the TDM and should totally hang out. (And we should keep that stuff as game canon.) I’m definitely up for this!

Do you have anything specific in mind? What’s Vlad doing with part 2 of Carcosa?

Hold on, I need to get a towel to wipe the egg off my face. >_< I apologize. I think I was just really looking forward to bro-in-arms stuff and Jon's a perfect type to play off. I've enjoyed what I've seen of your Jon in the game so far, so my wishful thinking got ahead of me.

I'd also like to keep the TDM thread as canon if you're game for it. It saves playing the getting to know you over again, and they seemed to play nice. I don't have anything specific in mind and I haven't really settled on anything for part 2 yet. Once I saw the CR meme might go up, I was hoping to use that to bounce off of. Do you have anything planned or any suggestions?

Hmm! You know I like me some Dulcie.

I would say that we should see how it goes once she gets in. Jon is always going to be a slow burn if left to his own devices, and I’m not sure how he’d deal with her illness (all his canon love interests are very action-oriented). But either way we can explore the CR, and either way I think he’d end up protective of her and maybe her of him.

What’s going on with Harrow in part 2 here? I am still so sick that I just look at everything and kind of “...” right now, but if anyone leads me to water I will probably drink. By which I mean, I’m not sure what I want to do but I’m definitely open to other people’s ideas.

Tagging Habits: Things have been monstrous the last couple months, but I think life is beginning to return to a version of typical. That means my weekdays are largely spoken for during regular business hours. Most of my tagging is after 6:00 PM on the weekdays or throughout the weekends. Personality: One part swashbuckler, one part depressive with a martyr complex. It's not great, Bob. Matt is a charmer, but he uses his humor and his smile to hold people at an arm's length. The few good friends he's enjoyed in his life have mainly been thanks to his own persistence. He is self-sacrificing, intelligent, and tenacious. Which kind of sounds like a dating profile. Point is, it's not all bad. And if you're just casually interacting with the guy he'll smile your pants off (possibly literally) and it'll be great. Just don't ask why he gets so evasive if you ask him literally, like, anything.
Day-to-day Habits: Truth of the matter is that I did a piss-poor job getting him initiated last month, so this is a little bit of a question mark for me. Which is to say I'm happy for him to find himself literally anywhere in his explorations. Glad to manufacture an excuse for whatever.

Desired CR: At this point, the whole kit and caboodle. He did a good job dodging and weaving the need for any heavy personal reflections in May, so he's still holding on tight to his secrets. I'd be delighted for him to reunite with anyone he may already know, or to meet anyone new. I know that's not particularly helpful or specific, but I am taking all comers.
Offered CR: Do you need a wiseass to crack a joke? A ninja to crack a skull? Could you use a man who doubles as a polygraph machine, or a friend to tell you if there's even the slightest lingering trace of onions on your breath? Shipping: Canonically, I've got my preferences for sure. Not many (if any) are pertinent at this juncture, which is to say that I am open to what happens but not motivated to force anything to unnaturally occur.
